Experience a family friendly preview of FBISF Thursday Sept. 25th.

Thursday, September 25th - Sunset Series @ City of Gulf Shores Gulf Place (Public Beach). Featuring Josh Martin and Wood Box Heroes 6-8pm (FREE ADMISSION) Food and Beverages Available. Bring your chairs.

Frank Brown Songwriters' Festival and City of Gulf Shores host a preview of the festival with a featured group of songwriters and we have a special treat this year with Wood Box Heroes, the newly formed American acoustic super-group, deeply rotted in tradition while melding together an eclectic-array of sounds from the country, bluegrass, blues, jazz, rock, and classical varieties, paired with crafty and authentic songwriting, the band delivers a piercing listening experience that plunges deep into the caverns of the soul. Bringing together Matt Menefee (banjo-Mumford & Sons, Cadillac Sky, Warren Haynes), Seth Taylor (mandolin-Mountain Heart, Dailey & Vincent) and Barry Bales (bass Alison Krauss & Union Station) backing up the vocal magic of Jenee Fleenor (fiddle-Blake Shelton, Larry Cordle) and Josh Martin (singer/songwriter/guitarist), this group has over a century of musical seasoning between them.

A wonderful evening under the stars…...
